Certified Professional Inspector

Home Inspector that complete advanced training and obey a code of ethics can apply to be a Certified Professional Inspector.  Additional continue education on a number of topics are also required.  Completed the training takes several months and is composed of online testing, video training and written test along with exams given by video.   Completing the online training allowed me to learn about issues that I had not encountered and to reinforce my knowledge.  I learned a great deal about fireplace inspections and electrical inspections.  Another thing the online training provides is a database of information for future questions.

In Louisville Kentucky, I have never meet another Home Inspector that has this designation, which is considered a Federal Certification.

Gold Home Inspection

Marty Goldsmith is a Certified Professional Inspector, number 21060317 and completes annual continuing education. I complete this course in the fall of 2021, I spent several months and hundreds of hours working on this.   When selecting a home inspector, one with this designation is one that should be given high consideration.
