Most Common Questions:

We found a couple of inspectors with lower prices. Why should we choose you?  That's a great question. In any business, quality service and experience come at a cost. A lower-priced provider may have fewer resources to invest in new equipment, insurance, adequate time at the property, training, and continuing education. Missing an important defect can cost far more than the money saved by choosing the lowest-priced inspection.

How did you get started in the home inspection industry?   I have owned, rented, purchased and sold dozens of properties.  I worked for a large "box" store, and sold decks, windows, HVAC, roofs and fences.  I managed a flooring operation for a National Company.  My father was an electrical professional and he taught me about electrical.  In addition to, all the requirements and training that home inspector most follow.

Should we get a radon test?  Yes.  I recommend verifying the exact Kentucky-specific statistic periodically because health and geographic claims should be supported by an authoritative source.  No one wants a health care problem.  This situation can be prevented with a low-cost test.

What We Offer

Buyer's Inspection

Buyer's Inspection

Our Louisville home inspection includes the heating and air-conditioning systems, plumbing, electrical system, roof, foundation, and many other accessible components

Sellers Inspections

Sellers Inspections

The purpose of a seller's inspection is to identify previously unknown defects before the home is listed for sale, allowing the seller to make repairs and potentially reduce problems during the transaction

Radon Inspection

Radon Inspection

Radon is a leading cause of lung cancer among nonsmokers. Because radon levels can vary from home to home, we recommend radon testing as part of the home-buying process.

Termite Inspection

Termite Inspection

The goal of this inspection is to examine the home and structure for evidence of wood destroying termites. Termite damage can be very expensive and should be part of every home buyer's inspection checklist.

Section 8 Inspection

Section 8 Inspection

We help investors identify potential issues before the official Section 8 inspection and prepare the property to meet applicable requirements.

Insurance Inspections

Insurance Inspections

This includes evaluating maintenance of the property and occupancy status of the home. Gold Home Inspection works with insurance companies and third-party companies on these requirements.
